About This Station
The station is powered by a Davis Vantage Pro 2 weather station, comprising an anemometer, rain gauge, and thermo-hygro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy known to mankind. Or to this one man anyway, given budgetary constraints. The station is located at 404m elevation in the hills north of Warragul.
A Davis AirLink air quality sensor also operates at the site, providing particulate matter (PM2.5/PM10) monitoring — particularly useful during bushfire season.
Data is collected every 60 seconds from the station's WeatherLink IP logger, with realtime readings updated to this site every 10 seconds. Station software is CumulusMX running on Linux, with 15 years of historical data dating back to May 2011.
